That is a great question. I am a German and Dutch researcher in the field of second language acquisition.
I love languages and language teaching! I speak German, Dutch and English fluently, as well as a little bit of French, Irish and Danish.
I have a bachelor's degree in English and German, a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Intercultural Studies and I am currently working on a PhD in Applied Linguistics!

Lessons can be booked on the "about" section of the website. To book a lesson you will need a) a working email* and b) a debit or credit card.
Students will be asked in the form to provide their phone number. This is not necessary, I just can't remove it from the form.
Lessons can be booked recurringly , as well as once off. Book whatever fits your schedule! There are lessons available for 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
**Once the booking is complete, students will be sent email confirmation. This confirmation will include a link to google meets. Do not delete this email, as this is where the lesson will take place.

In order to assure security for both the teacher and student, payments are handled by Stripe. I do not have any access to card information or methods of payment.
Students will be asked to pay in full before their lesson(s), with an option to pay extra/a tip for the teacher.

Sometimes life happens and we need to alter our schedules. Don't worry about it! There are never any hard feelings, these things happen.
Reschedules are possible (and free of charge) up to 12 hours.
Lessons that are cancelled up to 24 hour's in advance will receive a full refund. Lessons cancelled between 24-12 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund. Lessons cancelled after the 12 hour window will not be refunded.
If life happens, the options to cancel and/or reschedule a lesson should be accessible through the confirmation link. If not just send me an email at wietekedlh@gmail..com.
Refunds have to be approved by me through Stripe, which might take a number of days so bear with me.
In the event that I need to cancel a lesson, payments will always be refunded.
